Meet Butterfly (20240426-03)
History: Butterfly (Luna) was found as a stray in a remote area of Manitoba and brought to the shelter by local police.
She loves people of all ages although she definitely seems to prefer women. She loves being called a good girl.
She is working on her training and very rarely has an accident in her crate. She is learning to walk on leash but still needs work on pulling. She does get scared when large trucks drive by and will pull to go see people and other dogs but in a friendly manner. Her favourite activities are playing fetch and cuddling.
She is an energetic girl and loves to play with other dogs but can play rough. She will resource guard toys from other dogs but not food. Coming from a remote area she has never had her own toys so they are very high value for her.
She enjoys her crate when it has comfy blankets inside and a blanket draped over top to feel safe.
Luna is a friendly active girl who loves car and boat rides. She would make a great running or adventure partner for an active person or household. She really is a sweet girl and is going to make an amazing companion!!
