Meet Jessa, a gentle, shy sweetheart with so much love to give. Jessa arrived at the shelter in Antigua as a puppy in 2024 with her siblings—who were all adopted—leaving her to wait patiently for her turn. Since coming to Canada, Jessa has made incredible progress. Her foster has been helping her build confidence, and she’s slowly learning that the world isn’t as scary as it once felt.
Jessa is a shy girl who needs time and patience to warm up. Slow movements, gentle introductions, and a calm, predictable environment help her feel secure.
Jessa would thrive in a quieter home, ideally with another friendly, confident dog to show her the ropes and help her feel safe and comfortable. She’s ready for a family who understands her pace and will celebrate every little milestone along the way.
