Meet Pearl (20241019-09)
Rescue Story:
Pearl was rescued back in May of 2021 when a call came in that there was an injured dog on a street. When city employees investigated, they found that the dog was not injured, but instead very pregnant and near giving birth. Pearl had 9 beautiful white puppies after being rescued.
We kept Pearl with her puppies until they were weaned, at which point she came to our shelter. Since then she has been living a great life, getting walks and socializing with 20+ dogs.
She is still a little skittish so we are hoping to find a family who has dog experience. She doesn't pull, but can be scared by loud noises and likes to head home when she feels scared. A home on a quiet street or outside of busy cities would be ideal. Fun fact about Pearl: her eyes are quite small in proportion with her big face, which just adds to her unique and adorable look!
