Meet Sir Kyle (20250128-03)
Sir Kyle didn’t have an easy start to life. When he and his littermates were just about six weeks old, they were living in a frightening, unstable situation where survival meant hiding. A foster stepped in, but gaining their trust wasn’t quick or easy—it took two full days of patient searching and gentle coaxing to finally bring the scared puppies to safety.
Sir Kyle learned early that the world could be overwhelming, and that uncertainty still shows at times in new situations. But what’s remarkable is how soft his heart remains. Once he feels safe, Sir Kyle reveals his true self: a calm, affectionate boy who leans into love and quietly soaks up reassurance. He finds comfort in the presence of other dogs and gains confidence by watching and playing with his siblings and foster friends.
With time, consistency, and a home that understands his gentle nature, Sir Kyle will continue to blossom. He doesn’t rush into life—he grows into it, one trusting step at a time—and the family who gives him that chance will be rewarded with a loyal, deeply loving companion.

Low to medium. He enjoys playful moments with his siblings and foster friends, but he’s equally happy being calm, relaxed, and quietly soaking up affection.
He may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe his sweet, affectionate side shines through quickly.
though he is nervous in new situations and will need careful supervision during transitions.
No signs observed. He currently eats in his kennel without issue.
Still working on it. He is nervous on leash and will need continued positive, confidence-building practice.
Sir Kyle is used to having a large, fenced yard where he can safely run and play. He is not yet confident enough to rely solely on leash walks.
He thrives with canine companionship and enjoys playing with his siblings and foster siblings. Having another dog in the home would greatly help boost his confidence.
